June's success stories: Koy Clothing, Hayche, MarketOrders and Save Your Wardrobe
Jun 27, 2019We were delighted to add four more clients to our crowdfunding hall of fame in June.
Brothers Alastair and Jimmy set up Koy Clothing, an African inspired clothing brand, as a way to give back to Kenya, the country they grew up in. They were seeking £100,000 on Crowdcube to expand their product range and grow their customer base. They successfully closed the round with £132,840 on the bar.
Award-winning furniture brand Hayche successfully raised £130,237 on Seedrs which will allow them to develop new products and invest in stock, digital marketing and their first showroom in Clerkenwell – London's design district.
MarketOrders is a B2B platform that enables independent retail jewellers to buy gold and diamond jewellery directly and seamlessly from international suppliers. They were seeking £400,000 on Crowdcube and hit their target soon after launching the campaign.
Congratulations are also due to Save your Wardrobe whose pre-campaign communications were so successful, they were able to close their crowdfunding round in private from their own crowd.
